weather was great for our annual hotdog feed last Tuesday at Lawrence
Elementary. Special guests, Superintendent Winston Brooks and Admiral
Windwagon Smith (our very own Bob Harbison) were present for the Ribbon

In a space
that was bare Except for weeds everywhere Rotarians worked long and hard Where students can learn and have lots of fun Reading and working in the warm sun A classroom outside with a place for a garden If allergies you have we beg your pardon Butterflies and bees fly all around Beetles and ladybugs crawls on the ground There's a place to plant flowers or whatever you choose Then sit back and enjoy their colorful hues Tables for picnics if you want to eat Benches to relax and rest your tired feet We LOVE our new classrom under the sun Thank you Rotarians for what you've done Written and read by Chesney Moon, 5th grade |
